Blackjack, 21 or Pontoon

The game of Blackjack is one of the easiest card games to learn and is also known as 21. The game is played like the game of Pontoon with the only difference being that a Court card and an Ace is the best winning hand.

A minimum of two players is required to play and can be played with several more players. The dealer suffles the cards and deals one card to each player and him or herself then repeats the process once more. Each player looks at their cards then in turn gets the chance to "Stick/Hold" or "Twist" depending on what cards they hold.

When all players have finished their go, the dealer turns over his or her cards and plays out their hand.

The aim is to get a hand nearest to 21 without going over. The player with the highest hand wins. If more than one player has a winning hand then the pot is split. If anyone has a combination of a Jack and an Ace then that player wins over any other hand.

Any player with a hand of cards over 21 has "Bust" meaning they are out of the game and will have to wait for the next game to start before playing again.

If a player has two cards of the same value they are then able to "Split" their cards and play each card as a seperate hand in creasing the chances of winning.

Online Blackjack is played as above against the dealer.
